Family Support

The Family Support Committee is responsible for helping the selected families with the transition from rental to home ownership, in particular Habitat home ownership. Monthly family support meetings and home ownership workshops in budgeting and money management, home insurance, home maintenance and home repairs and other topics are planned by committee members to make sure that partner-families earn their sweat equity in a timely fashion and are prepared for home ownership responsibilities.  Each family is assigned a PAL (Partner, Advocate, Liaison) who becomes a member of the family support committee.   This committee meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at 305 Curtis Street.

Family support meetings for the partner-families are held the second Tuesday of the month at the Tri-Township Fire Station, 495 Sunbury Road, Delaware, OH 43015 (except for the June and December meetings)
